About Me
I enjoy accounting and taxes and working with my clients, their success is my success. My goal is to always help clients save tax dollars and have their accounting system be informative and efficient. I have never counted any beans. I do get obsessed at times to find those last two missing pennies.
I am licensed by the California Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant, license 76294.
I am authorized to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and represent tax payers. I am an authorized e-file provider.
I am a QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor (desktop versions) and a QuickBooks OnLine Advanced ProAdvisor.
I began working in public accounting at Fox & Co. CPAs while still attending Cal State Fullerton. I continued working at Fox after graduation, completing 7 years there. Fox has since merged with the large international accounting firm Grant Thorton. While my experience at Fox included audits of publicly traded companies, the majority of my work was for small closely held businesses and for individuals.
After my good experience at Fox, I was the controller at a printing company and then a manufacturer. With all my exposure to business owners, I decided it was my turn to try it.
I started a coin operated amustment game route (Pac Man and the like) where I placed games at various locations. I got to be the CEO and the janitor. As every kid got a game console, that business began to wane. I slowly started back into public accounting doing both for a number of years. My amusement game business was enjoyable. I learned more about electronics than I cared to. I can still throw a fireball on Street Fighter II and do a death save on a pinball machine.
Over ten years ago I moved to North County because I could not find a nicer place to live. As it began, my practice focuses on individuals and small businesses.
